Particularly the buffet, MDR and bars. We sailed the second sailing and based on that I would have told anyone to run far far away from Infinity. Dinner near three hours most nights, just a few bar servers on the pool deck and only two bartenders at the pool bar so it was a long wait. No 'large' martini glasses so the martinis were half of their normal size. We also had a lot of issues with the shower in my cabin, it seemed to be leaking and every time the shower ran the carpet would get wet next to the bed. They offered to bring an industrial blower in but there was already no room in the cabin and I never could have slept with that.
The Celebrity Apex Deck Plan Promotes Both Peace and Adult-Centric -Fun
We were about 1800 passengers we were told. The Theater is really hit or miss. As a high school teacher.... These shows (with the exception of the Piano Man and the Comedian) reminded me of HS Musicals. LOL The piano guy was AMAZING and he preformed another night in the lounge. Get there early, people were sitting on the floor! We went to the adult comedian show in the theater and he was super funny.
How much does it cost to go on Celebrity Apex?

We are on the Infinity right now. Save your money on le Petite Chef. It is great is when there are just a few guests. We tried it again on this cruise as we loved it in the past...it was awful.

Wonderful salad bar and YES there is a fish and chips day. I tried the fish but did not care for the breading, too soggy and too much of it. I pulled it away and put the fish on my salad and it was delish! Dinner in the main dining room was very nice. The steak Diane was delish as well as the lobster an beef wellington.

The common ladies rooms were generally well kept. Some had attendants in them, some didn't. I love the hand towels and those were fresh. The crew was constantly cleaning.
Dinner at Le Petit Chef is a must. The show is cute but really the meal is wonderful. It's never crowded so the chef is cooking for a small group. We went the first night (with a discount) and there were 12 of us in the whole restaurant. Lack of staff made the whole experience long and drawn out (over 3 hours for the 2 of us). We had a reservation but had to wait because the group in front of us couldn't find a table they liked.
“When you look at the all-inclusive package, why guests were booking it, every piece of research says they are booking it because of the beverage. It’s the beverage that’s driving it. (February 26, 2024) -- Celebrity Cruises has rolled out a new add-on package known as Premium Access that is available to those with booked cruises and bundles additional perks for a fee. In Bimini is that beach and pool at Resorts the same as the Virgin Beach Club that Virgin Voyages uses, or something totally different? I heard when a Virgin ship isn’t in port you can pay to spend the day at their Beach Club.

There is a free trolley that makes 3 stops. We decided to ride the trolley around before deciding where to get off. All 3 stops are within walking distance of each other.

However, it’s still not clear how the move offers better value for the cruiser, especially when Celebrity has just raised the cost of gratuities. The new program, which is capacity-limited and is priced dynamically depending on voyage duration, was initially rolled out as "Celebrity Pass" before undergoing a name change and slight tweak to amenities. Sounds like it’s two different properties, the Resorts/Hilton and the Virgin Beach Club.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Apex is also notable for its exceptional offerings to suite guests. The Celebrity Apex Retreat experience encompasses private and exclusive dining, a lounge and splendid sundeck, aimed at giving suite passengers seclusion and comfort. It's the perfect balance between luxury and big ship cruising. Apex also excels at innovation, with unique features like the heralded Magic Carpet, a cantilevered platform that juts from the side of the ship and can move up and down depending on its use. At the lowest deck, it serves as a gateway to ports, making embarkation and debarkation easy.
So we feel like you are interviewing for a new job each evening. LOL Martini Bar was a hot spot and the drinks were wonderful. We actually met and ended up spending a lot of time with the Kostas, the Director of Food and Beverage. He is a wonderful young man and a great brand ambassador. We chatted frequently throughout the week and he seems to actually want to hear our opinions. I am glad to hear things out of the cabins seem to be improving.
They were understaffed and the amount of guests were too many for this type of venue. I live in Georgetown about 3 miles from the Franklin County line, lol. Eat in Frankfort all the time, closer than going into Georgetown.
Our poor waiter was the only one in our section with 6 tables seated all within 30 minutes of each other. The food was nothing spectacular. Defiantly not Ruth's Chris or Jeff Ruby but not "Fancy like Applebee's" either LOL. Food is good but again staffing issues made the meal slow. Ocean view Cafe for lunch was fantastic.
Thanks for posting about Infinity. Appreciate your thoughts on the ship and also about each of the ports. Likewise, the nightlife ranges from quiet corners to full-on participatory performance in the spectacular Eden complex – a gorgeous, window-filled space that feels both relaxing and evocative. She said the most well-attended shows were game-show style shows – so cruisers should expect more of them. Celebrity Ascent, which launches December 3 in Fort Lauderdale, ups the entertainment ante several notches ; it will be a test ship for a possible rollout of several new shows.
Never been on a bad ship (no matter the cruise line) yet. Just a couple notes from our recent (July 23) Infinity cruise to share with you. My sister and I cruised together and we found the ship to be generally in good condition.
